2005-04-29 [Duredhel]: no, the bearers are already there, besides knights are a warrior, not a mage class. The only class I would consider adding would be a roguish class, but I seriously doubt I will.

2005-04-29 [Lepellier]: I know they are, I was just thinking they would be good classes to add, like if the bearer has the ability to handle swords, just don't give them mastery or the ability to summon.

My other brother has an issue that has one on how to make booby traps they used in the war, like this one where if someone stepped in it, it would shoot them through the foot. XD And since I suck at poses, I started using Maxim for some references. Theres really good ones in there. XD

Adept - FULL completely, entirely mage class, can actually learn ALL 6 magic types in the game, compensates by being stupidly weak in anything else.
Astrologer - Advanced Adept, completely neutral, much stronger, specialized in Astral Magic.
Scourer - Adept + Acolyte, fanatical white magic spellcaster, specialized in Purging Magic.
Occultist - Adept + Doomsday Knight, half warrior spellcaster, specialized in Corrupted Magic.
Magus - Another full spellcaster, completely neutral, specialized in Elemental Magics.

2006-08-27 [Lepellier]: Just a bit of an observation, but isn't the Adept a lot like a Shaman, except specializing in real magic compared to glyphs and demi magic?

2006-08-27 [Duredhel]: They're similar, but the shaman has some good actual combat skills, whereas the adept has none. Besides, the adept has his non-elemental skill, which comes in handy.

2006-10-24 [Duredhel]: Aye! I've decided to make a pretty big re-structuring of the class system. You'll all notice when it happens. This will whoever, not affect already made characters. Some advanced/hybrids might also be upgraded or downgraded though. Some people'll have the chance to fix their characters if they believe they would've chosen an option that wasn't available at the time. There's something I need you to do though, if you believe any particular class is under/overpowered, please comment on it here with the reasons and possible methods for improvement, so I can do it when I restructure.

2006-10-25 [Adaman]: Shadow Warrior's cloaking skill is a tad too powerful, completely negates the need for camouflage. Maybe dropping it to a +4 or +5 instead of the +10 it has.

2006-10-25 [Lepellier]: I think that the Alter spell skill all spellcasters has is a bit too generic.

2006-10-25 [Grengo]: Better to have something generic that works than to have something unique that sucks :p Anyhow, my own thoughts are that the Lemirian Channeler is a bit underwhelming compared to other fellow support classes, as two of its special skills sort of blow (Powerdrain, which will make little to no difference to lvl 20 and above characters, and Life Channeling, which has too many downsides to be considered useful).

There's also a Sage's Advice section in every class, that section is for advanced players to offer advice on how to use that class, what races fit it best, what strategies, what skills are important, advancement paths, stats, equipment, whatever they can think of. The people that are authorized to write there are [Grengo], [Adaman], [Veltzeh], [Lunnie] and [Blood Raven].
